The story of the camp of Neuvic is interesting to understand the strategics of the Resistance in those days .
Having first settled at la Meynie, then at le Chambon, the camp is at that time attacked by the forces of Vichy.
The ones who have escaped withdraw to La Perriere then la Charlanne finally at Berthounot in the valley of the Triouzoune.
The arrival of the GMR (Mobile Reserve Group) at Serandon causes a new shifting near La Forêt Noire ; final settling at Le Servaleix where the camp is attacked by the Germans on June 3rd 1944.
