His being 80 as an opportuneness, Henri Queuille’s friends gathered to present him with a medal at his effigy. The ceremony took place in the hall of the French National Society of horticulturists, on may 11th 1965 ; to be present, there were nine former Prime Minister ; the President of the Senate, the president of the economic and social Council, two members of the Goverment and a lot of high personalities.

The number and the quality of those taking part in this friendly demonstration made up a bright testimony of the esteem President Queuille had gathered round him.
